CERAMIC FIBER BOARD
Ceramic Fiber Board is produced through wet forming process. These ceramic fiber boards features include high temperature stability, low thermal conductivity, consistent density, and excellent resistance against thermal shock and chemical attack. Ceramic fiber board also resists oxidation and reduction. Ceramic fiber boards are available in a variety of temperature ratings, densities, thicknesses, widths and lengths, and custom vacuum formed shapes.
Features
High temperature stability
Excellent thermal shock resistance
Excellent strength, hardness
Exceptional machinability for precise dimensional control
Low thermal conductivity
Low heat storage
Resistant to hot gas erosion
Resists most chemical attacks
Easy to cut, handle, and install
Low sound transmission
Light weight
Resists penetration by molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals
Asbestos free
Applications
Refractory lining for industrial furnaces for walls, roofs, doors, stacks, etc.
Combustion chamber liners, boilers, and heaters
Back-up insulation for brick and monolithic refractories
Transfer of molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals
